Jamie Hallman, Therapist for Neurodivergent People in North Carolina

Understanding your past lays the groundwork for envisioning your future.

Knowing where you’ve been is the first step in identifying where you want to go.

At Full Circle Counseling, we understand that being a human is hard work. Figuring out who you want to be in a world that is constantly telling you who you SHOULD be is exhausting.

Whether you are redefining what matters most to you, working through painful past experiences, or trying to figure out why your path looks different from those around you (and why that might not be a bad thing)- then you’ve come to the right place.

We don’t believe in shaming the fears, worries, and questions away- we embrace them all as a part of this wonderful-and scary- journey called life.

Seeking help is the first step in your journey to a more fulfilled life.

Meet Jamie!

My clients describe me as gentle and affirming, yet solid and trustworthy when it matters.

I understand that many of the things folks bring to therapy can feel hopeless and isolating. This is why I believe in curating a meaningful relationship to begin our work together. Processing trauma and difficult past experiences takes a lot of hard work and I understand you must feel comfortable to do so, that’s why I proceed through the beginning of therapy deliberately and gradually.

This is especially true in my work with individuals who have experienced a later-in-life Autism diagnosis. I understand that your past may have been full of confusion and feeling “othered.” While getting answers may be relieving and bring clarity to some, it is also valid that a diagnosis comes with its own set of questions and trepidation about the future. My goal is to provide a safe space for you to work through these fears and experiences to gain a better understanding and vision of what the future can look like.
